Continuous & Comprehensive Assessment (CCA) shall be done by the college continuously & comprehensively for all subjects throughout the semester.

Unit test & class attendance shall be two different components under CCA & marks will be awarded for both.

There shall be two unit tests per semester for each & every theory paper, excluding AECC & SEC. The highest mark secured by a student out of two Unit Tests shall be awarded to the student as the marks under Unit Test of CCA.

Each student shall have to attend a minimum of 75% Lectures/Tutorials/Practical Classes in each paper. A student with less than 75% of attendance in any paper of the concerned semester shall not be allowed to appear in the concerned paper of the End Semester Examination, but may be allowed to get admission in the immediate next higher semester.

It is also compulsory for a student to qualify in the Unit Test of each paper, else he/she will not be allowed to appear in the end semester examination of the particular paper.

There shall be a total of 6 (Six) End Semester Examinations which will be conducted by Assam University as per schedule and programme published for each odd & even semester.
